Ohio: Collecting Signatures For Cannabis Legalization
- Advocates for adult-use cannabis legalization have begun gathering signatures to place the marijuana proposal on the November Ballot writes News 5 Cleveland. The Coalition to Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol is in charge of collecting petition signatures and is the group behind the proposal that would legalize and regulate the cultivation, manufacturing, testing, and sale of marijuana to Ohioans 21.
- For the measure to reach the ballot, the petition needs to have 124,000 signatures from half of 88 counties in the Buckeye state.
- Tom Haren, a spokesman for the coalition said earlier he is optimistic not only to see the proposal on the ballot but also that Ohioans will finally legalize cannabis.

- California’s struggles with illegal cannabis operations continue, as authorities in Jurupa Valley seize $1 million worth of marijuana products from an illicit dispensary, reported NBC Palm Springs.
- On Thursday, in a city in the northwest corner of Riverside County, authorities seized 115 pounds of processed cannabis, 10 pounds of psilocybin mushrooms, 100 pounds of cannabis concentrate, 2, 400 cannabis vapes, and 1,200 edibles.
- At first, the authorities came following up a report of a disturbance, and when they showed up, several individuals run away. Some of them were caught, and afterward, authorities issues search warrants.
