Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. and Cronos Group Inc. both announced new chief financial officers in separate moves on Monday by the two cannabis-oriented companies. Fertilizer and cultivation equipment specialist Scotts Miracle-Gro named Matthew Garth as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective Dec. 1. He most recently worked as CFO of Minerals Technologies Inc. . He replaces interim CFO David Evans. Cronos Group Inc. said it hired James Holm as CFO to succeed Bob Madore, who is leaving the cannabis company. Holm most recently worked as global vice president of finance transformation at Vertiv Holdings LLC . Shares of Scotts Miracle-Gro fell 0.6% in premarket trades. Cronos is up 0.7% in premarket action.
